The American Advertising Federation-Corpus Christi Chapter (AAF-CC) will be shaking up Corpus Christi James Bond Style by hosting the local ADDY® Awards, 2-007, on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at the American Bank Center at 6:30 pm.

The ADDY® Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes and entrants of all levels. The American Advertising Federation, a not-for-profit industry association, conducts the ADDY® Awards each year to recognize the best in advertising.

It is the only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry. The 2007 Closer Awards, honoring our local advertising sales professionals, will also be awarded at the event.

Work created in 2007 was submitted by local designers, ad agencies and media outlets, and was then judged in Dallas by industry professionals. Winning entries will be showcased in a professionally produced video presentation the night of the ADDY® Awards event.

Attendees will also enjoy a 6:30 pm cocktail hour and 7:30 pm plated dinner. All top winners will be forwarded to the 10th District Competition to compete with 26 clubs from surrounding areas!

The ADDY® Awards party is open to all members of the community and is not exclusive to AAF-CC Membership. Attending this event is the perfect way to meet, mingle and see the talent of our Coastal Bend Creatives!
